A. How to register for a Freshchat account & enable the form?

  • Set up your account on the chat platform of your choice. The above listed option is for Freshdesk messaging.
  • Once done, you would get a code snippet.
  • Copy the Code.

B. Steps to set up a chat tool  on your site

Enabling the chat tool across the site

 

  • Log in to your Knorish Publisher Account 
  • Go to Pages in Website Builder
  • Select Custom Code 
  • Paste the copied code in the last row
  • Click Save

This would enable the chat tool on all your site pages. Once a form is submitted, the information will be available in the tool itself. 

Enabling the chat tool on one specific page

  • Log in to your Knorish Publisher Account 
  • Go to Pages in Website Builder
  • Select the Page to include the chat tool
  • Choose Edit Tool
  • Scroll to Custom Footer Code
  • Paste copied Chat tool code there
  • Tick the Publish & Save button
